The repair and restoration of old radios often involves working with circuits that are at high voltage. Accidental contact with live parts of the circuit may cause disablement or even DEATH. Some components may remain at a dangerous voltage for some time after power to the set is removed. If you have had no experience with restoration of radio equipment, seek help and advice before you start work.
